Before you start

  • You can open Listings.
  • You know the client and business location you want to check.
  • You have access to the verified business facts and the connected or public listing you are comparing.

Steps

  1. Choose the right scope

Open Listings and select the client and business location you want to check.

  2. Confirm what the page is showing

Check the verified business facts and the connected or public listing you are comparing. Make sure the scope and date match the question you are trying to answer.

  3. Understand your Connection score

Read the Connection score gauge, understand which publishers it counts, and work the Requires action list that sits beside it.

  4. Open the supporting detail

Compare the proposed value with the current publisher value before you save or publish.

  5. Record the next action

The listing task shows the right location, source, value, and current publishing status. Save or assign the next step instead of treating the summary as proof that work is complete.

EXPECTED RESULT

What you should see when you finish

  • The listing task shows the right location, source, value, and current publishing status.
  • The page shows the client or location you intended to change or review.
  • Any approval, publishing, or follow-up status is recorded separately from the draft.

If something does not look right

The option or data is missing

Check the selected scope, date range, account connection, and your permissions. Directory coverage, editing controls, verification, and publishing time depend on the publisher and account connection.

The result does not match the source

Return to Listings, confirm the source and checked date, then repeat the task with the same scope. Do not replace a missing value with zero or assume a submitted change is already live.
