Before you start

  • You can open Locations.
  • You know the business location you want to manage.
  • You have access to the verified name, address, phone, hours, services, menus, and media for that location.

Steps

  1. Choose the right scope

Open Locations and select the business location you want to manage.

  2. Check the current state

Review the verified name, address, phone, hours, services, menus, and media for that location. Keep the current value or status visible before you make a change.

  3. Use publisher overrides

Override a field for Google, Facebook, Apple or Bing without touching the shared record, and undo it with Reset when the exception ends.

  4. Review before you finish

Check whether you are changing the master profile or a publisher-specific value.

  5. Confirm the saved or submitted result

The saved location record shows the intended information and the next publishing step is clear.

EXPECTED RESULT

What you should see when you finish

  • The saved location record shows the intended information and the next publishing step is clear.
  • The page shows the client or location you intended to change or review.
  • Any approval, publishing, or follow-up status is recorded separately from the draft.

If something does not look right

The option or data is missing

Check the selected scope, date range, account connection, and your permissions. A saved location value is not the same as a published value. Publisher timing and availability can differ.

The result does not match the source

Return to Locations, confirm the source and checked date, then repeat the task with the same scope. Do not replace a missing value with zero or assume a submitted change is already live.
